The Ascension of Christ

The Ascension of Christ (May 15th, A.D. 33):

On the Thursday, May 15th, A.D. 33, which was 40 days after the resurrection of Christ, the living Jesus (“in the flesh”) gave the apostles the Great Commission.

“All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:16-20):

The Ascension of Christ :

and then Christ ascended into heaven (Luke 24:50-53, Mark 16:19, & Acts 1:1-11) and was “seated at the right hand of the father”.
