A.D. 14 – Tiberius Caesar

Tiberius Caesar (42 B.C. to A.D. 37; Roman Emperor from A.D. 14 until A.D. 37)

On Sept. 18th, A.D. 14 Tiberius Caesar (August Caesar’s son) succeeded Augustus Caesar as the emperor of the Roman Empire. He ruled until his death which occurred on March 16th, A.D. 37. He may have died from natural causes or he may have been assassinated by the future emperor Caligula.
