The First Official Roman Government Persecution of the Nascent Christian Church:
The first official Roman government persecution of the Jewish Sect of the Nazarene (the nascent Christian Church) occurred a Scant 8 years after Jesus, God’s Holy Messiah was crucified & resurrected.
This persecution lead many of the Apostles and the 70 disciples to flee from Jerusalem. The great irony of this persecution is that over the next 10-20 the Apostles and disciples then left various missionary journeys, and thereby spread the Christian faith throughout the world.
